Barrel handling equipment
Dostál, Martin ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Hloušek, David (advisor)
The primary content of this work is a conceptual design of a manipulative device for tin barrels, with its characteristic parameters. The model design was completed in accordance with the gathered information from the critical research of comparable devices available on the market. Ultimately, the model concept is focused on improving the market devices’ deficiencies. The manipulative device model was composed in Autodesk Inventor 2018 application and subsequently subdued to testing calculations. The entire model construction is chiefly welded. Therefore, the majority of the calculations is concerned with the solidity control of the welds.
Handling equipment for a storage of the barrels
Matyáš, David ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of handling equipment for barrel warehouse as additional device for forklifts. Forklift moves on the flat floor of the warehouse. All functions of the mechanism are powered by hydrostatic oil pressure. In the thesis, some design proposals are made, after their evaluation is chosen final variation which includes functional and strength calculations. The chosen concept includes a drawing documentation.
Organoleptické defekty vína zpôsobené plesňami
Peško, Jakub
This thesis dealt with the issue of an impact of mildew on wine quality. It clarifies the negative effects of mold which already occur in vineyard on grape bunches and the rest of the vine bush. It also explains that the mold is not getting into the wine only from mold infected grapes but also during the wine making and wine improving in cellar management. The thesis analyzes the characteristics and impacts of mold secondary metabolites and their wine quality affecting changes. It further describes a method of determination of certain substances that affect organoleptic wine characteristics and even threaten a human health.
Vplyv macerácie netradičných druhov dreva na kvalitu destilátů
Martinák, Krištof
Diploma thesis The influence of maceration of nontraditional wood species on the quality of distillate was elaborated in the years 2017-2019 at the Institute of Post-Harvest Technology of Horticultural Products, Faculty of Horticulture, Mendel University in Brno. Literary part was aimed at clarifying the legislative requirements for the production of spirits, namely brandy. The thesis also briefly describes the history and technology of barrel production, the chemical composition of wood and chemical changes in the content of barrels. Alternative products used instead of barrels were also discussed. In the practical part of the thesis 8 types of woods, which were processed into wood chips, each in three variants of temperature treatment (110,175,200°C) were selected. Various types of woods were dosed into wine distillate and matured together with wood for 5 months. After this time, the distillates were decanted and subjected to chemical analysis. Here, the antioxidant capacity was determined by two methods - FRAP and DPPH. The total polyphenol content and color changes using the CIELAB 3-dimensional space was also determined. Subsequently, 24 spirits were rated by eleven members commission. Fifteen organoleptic properties (optical, aromatic and flavor) were evaluated. The results were evaluated in graphs, tables and photographs and supported by a statistical survey. Furthermore, in the discussion and conclusion, the results were verbally evaluated, compared with similar foreign and domestic studies. In conclusion, the author's opinion, his recommendations for using this research in practice or other research were expressed.Formula clause:I hereby declare that, this thesis entitled The influence of maceration of nontraditional wood species on the quality of distillate was written and completed by me. Remedies in civil procedure under Czech and Slovak legal order - comparative view
Majchrák, Tadeáš ; Macková, Alena (advisor) ; Frintová, Dita (referee)
Remedies in civil procedure under Czech and Slovak legal order - comparative view Abstract The aim of the rigorous thesis is to analyze and then compare the individual remedies of the finding procedure as the basic type of civil (judicial) process in the legal regulations of two separate states, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, with particular emphasis on the differences of both orders and their same or similar features stemming from a shared legal, historical, cultural and social past, as well as from mutual inspiration and shared value attitudes. In the first part, dealing with general theoretical background and concepts, emphasis is placed on describing the civil process in both countries, especially in terms of its division into founding and executing procedures. The stage of the finding procedure is the remedy whereby the appeals court examines the correctness of the contested decision. Finding procedures can be differentiated into dispute and non-dispute proceedings. In regards to the parties involved in civil proceedings, they are the participants in civil law relations or the parties to the proceedings, in particular litigation and court. Apart from them, other persons, such as a prosecutor (public prosecutor), a lawyer, a notary or in the Czech Republic, the Office for Government...

Využitie drevených sudov ku školeniu bielych vín
Gočik, Šimon
The main theme of this work was the use of wooden barrels to training white wines. The attention in theoretical part of this work was paid to the kinds of wood for the production of barrels and a detailed description of actual production, the history of barrels, maintenance and deposit barrels. Types of barrels is a huge number, you can still recall most frequently barrique barrel. Therefore, part of this work is focused on this type of barrels and the oak's ones. Composition of wood is very important to understand of the action the wood of wine during maturation in barrels. This work should approach the components of wood actioned on wine directly and indirectly, a'substances extracted from wood to wine and the processes such a micro oxidation , which may be caused or at least influenced by the wood and wine maturation in a barrel. Because I come from the Tokaj region and wine aging in barells is typical for this region, I've decided to give a part of this work to this theme. The experimental part was based on observation of aging white wine in accacia barrels. The testing variety was Riesling. Observation was focused on sensoric changes during maturation, specially wooden expression in wine.
Použití dřeva ve vinařství
Foltýnová, Zuzana
This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to using wood in wine-making. Firstly, is focused on chemical composition of wood and its physical parametres, its individual components in particular. There are described types of woods mostly used in viticulture and its consecutive utilisation at coopery. An individual chapter is dedicated to coopery where are described: technological manufacturing of timber, burning out the barrels and its effect on the change of their chemical characteristics as well as analysing the barrels as means to wine fertilisation and wine ripening. There is also mentioned individually the barrique-type barrels and barrels for ageing of special (mostly fortified) wines. In this connection possible diseases and flaws of wines connected to ageing in wooden barrels are described. The following chapter focuses on using preparations replacing barrique barrels which also add oak and vanilla shades to wine such as wooden chippings, desks and oak bore dust. A special attention is paid to corks, their production, types and effect on wine while ageing in bottles. The end of this thesis dealt with using tannins extracted from timber which are recently becoming very popular.
